Spiky-Tailed Bronto, “Giraffe of the Mesozoic” ARE Sauropods!!!
In twin discoveries that will SHOCK the WORLD of SAUROPODS, two new Sauropods were discovered last week. Qiaowanlong Kangxii, the FIRST early Cretaceous Brachiosaurid to be discovered in Asia (What What!!!) is an economy-sized 10 tons, small by Sauropod standards, but it had a very unique pelvis. Ooh la la! It is also being hailed as the “Giraffe of the Mesozoic.”
Giraffes, tho, are not Sauropods.
This yummy-saurus, tho, newly discovered in Niger, is even funkier.

It’s a full-size model, was discovered in Niger, and goes by the moniker of Spinophosaurus. In a real twist, it’s got some tail spikes a la Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus.
Tail Spikes are the leg warmers of the Mesozoic.
