Tamil Nadu no longer got them Sauropod Eggs

Clusters of fossilised dinosaur eggs recently unearthed from a river bed in a village in Tamil Nadu by research students, have allegedly been pilfered by the public, hoping to cash in on the prized find.
Reports from Senthurai village in Ariyalur district said many of the 65-million-year-old eggs, buried in a river bed there, have been taken away by people.
While the fossilized eggs may have some cash value, they WILL NOT BE TASTY. Nevertheless it’s kind of interesting that we mammals, having evolved significantly since the late Cretaceous, are still in the business of stealing dinosaur eggs. Given that one (unfalsifiable)theory of dino extinction involves ‘lil mammals eating all the eggs, this seems to be the equivalent on pissing on the collective graves of the dinosaurs.
